That is a tough question. I love lots of different wines for different reasons. I love a nice sparkly wine, or a big bold Zinfandel, even a nice mellow Pinot Noir.
If I had to pick one today, it would be Guisuppina from Jacuzzi Vineyards in Sonoma CA. It is a Chardonnay, but it has a fun twist to it. While most California Chardonnays tend to be big butterballs of oak flavor, this wine has an energetic lemon-lime flavor. It is still has that bold flavor, but it is balanced and carries a nice long finish.
Unfortunately, it can not be purchased here in Atlanta. We get a quarterly shipment of a couple of bottles. I am actually headed to UPS today to pick up this quarter's shipment.
